Helena Rho is a former assistant professor of Pediatrics.  She has practiced general pediatrics and taught at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

She earned an MFA in creative nonfiction at the University of Pittsburgh.  Her work has been published in anthologies by Southern Methodist University Press, Creative Nonfiction Magazine, and Slate Magazine.

She is currently at work on her memoir of the three years she spent at Johns Hopkins.
